EMBA Administrator – Maternity Leave Cover Vacancy

The East Midland Baptist Association is seeking to appoint an administrator to cover a maternity leave vacancy.

The administrator will serve the association alongside the Regional Ministers as part of the Association staff team.

The role is full time and involves overseeing all administrative aspects of the Association.

The position is a one year fixed term contract commencing on Monday 13 February 2012.

The appointed person must be sympathetic to the Christian ethos and in agreement with the EMBA mission statement ‘Inspiring and Resourcing in Gospel Mission’.

Applications must be received by Monday 9 January 2012 at 12 noon with interviews taking place on Thursday 19 January 2012.

Baptist Service on Radio 4 – Sunday 14 August

Radio 4′s Sunday morning service this week (Aug 14 at 8.10am) will be marking the 250th anniversary of the Baptist missionary pioneer William Carey.

The service was recorded at Mount Pleasant Baptist Church in Northampton, and features BMS general director David Kerrigan and Vivienne Hatton, a BMS mission worker in Belgium who was baptised at Mount Pleasant.

The service will then be available on i-player for the following week.
